Kathryn Lazarus is a registered psychologist who provides compassionate, evidence-based psychological care to adults experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns.

Her areas of professional interest include:

  • Anxiety-related disorders (e.g. panic attacks, post-traumatic stress disorder)
  • Depression, including ante- and postnatal depression
  • Complex trauma
  • Domestic violence and anger management
  • Childhood sexual abuse
  • Parenting skills
  • Grief and loss
  • Substance misuse
  • Relationship challenges
  • Self-esteem issues
  • Personality disorders, particularly narcissistic and borderline personality disorder

Kathryn draws on a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy, Neuropsychotherapy, Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and Mindfulness techniques.

She holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from CQUniversity and a Master of Applied Psychology from the University of Queensland. Kathryn is fully registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
