Kathryn Lazarus – Psychologist

Kathryn Lazarus is a registered psychologist who provides compassionate, evidence-based psychological care to adults experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns.
Her areas of professional interest include:
- Anxiety-related disorders (e.g. panic attacks, post-traumatic stress disorder)
- Depression, including ante- and postnatal depression
- Complex trauma
- Domestic violence and anger management
- Childhood sexual abuse
- Parenting skills
- Grief and loss
- Substance misuse
- Relationship challenges
- Self-esteem issues
- Personality disorders, particularly narcissistic and borderline personality disorder
Kathryn draws on a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy, Neuropsychotherapy, Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and Mindfulness techniques.
She holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from CQUniversity and a Master of Applied Psychology from the University of Queensland. Kathryn is fully registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
