Dr Beata Filipowicz

Dr Beata Filipowicz graduated from Wroclaw Medical University in Poland in 1998. Following her internship, she moved to the United Kingdom, where she gained broad experience across a range of medical specialties, including cardiology, geriatrics, palliative care, gastroenterology and intensive care.

Dr Filipowicz obtained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians, initially intending to specialise in gastroenterology. However, her career ultimately led her to general practice, where she found a strong sense of purpose in providing comprehensive, ongoing care to patients. She obtained Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in the UK and has worked exclusively in general practice since 2011.

In 2016, Dr Filipowicz moved to Australia with her family and settled on the Gold Coast, where she continues to live and practise.

She values the continuity of care that general practice provides and the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with her patients. Dr Filipowicz is a strong advocate for preventive healthcare and believes in empowering patients to take an active role in managing their health, supported by clear, evidence-based medical advice.
